MY ASHLEY IN UTAH!!
My long time best friend of 10 almost 11 years Ashley McKenzie came to visit me in Utah! :) I haven't been back to Florida to visit in almost 2 years and I hadn't seen Ashley in a little over a year! It was so awesome to see her! It was bitter sweet visit though. It was great to see her but she was only passing through on her way home from yellowstone so she was only in SLC for a day and a half. Regardless of how long she was here it was AWESOME seeing her! Here are just a few pics of Ash & I.

Happy New Year!
I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! I am soooo glad 2008 is over...this was another crapy year for me. I have high hopes for 2009 and I'm hoping I can get my life on track once again! lol.
Update on my life as of 1-01-2009:
I am working again! Who knew that working would be such a pleasure! lol. I am working as Office Admin for Six Figure Consulting. I've only been there a few weeks now but I absolutely love the work & the people. I am still single!...but that's a good thing, I think. lol. I had such a terrible experience with my last boyfriend that it's been a nice breath of fresh air to have NO "man" drama in my life. Don't get me wrong...I totally miss the hugs & kisses of a man BUT I'm sooo happy with no drama that it's all good. :) I am currently looking for my own place. I found the apartment I want but it's a bit pricey so I'm continuing the hunt. I mean...I can't free-load off mom & dad forever! ;) Although I'm glad to be around mom & dad and my friends here I am absolutely home sick for Florida! I miss everything and everyone back home! Let's see...I think that's about it.

Christmas Eve
I spent most of the day with my friend Adam just hanging out. But around 6pm I came home to mom's home made cookin, Betsey, and the Jordan/Julie clan. :) Here are some pics from tonight....more to come tomorrow

(This is for Bets) So leave it to our fam to be the most sarcastic one on the block! Mom, Dad, Bets, & I all sit down to play a new game that "Santa" brought early for us! It's called Out of Time or Timeout or something like that. Anyway, it was a super fun game but we were all kinda tired, grumpy, and in very sarcastic moods. Mom was frustrated that someone left the top off the Ib Profen and askes (in mom's "wheat/wood" voice) WHO left the cap off of the IBP. So I answered "WHO let the dogs out WHO WHO WHO WHO WHO! lol. If you aren't a member of my family I'm sure you are totally lost but everyone in the fam knows what I'm talkin' about! LOL. I miss all of you and hope everyone has a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

My 1st Shoveling Of Snow
So we had a HUGE snow storm last week/over the weekend. Dad was outta town and the driveway needed to be shoveled sooooo bad. So I got this great idea that I was going to attempt it. lol. I got some pointers from Leslie before I went at it but here are some pics:

This was probably after a good 1/2 hour to 45 minutes of shoveling. I obviously gave up after realizing that I don't have shovelin' skills
And then Jordan came to save the day! lol. After like 10 minutes he had half the drive done! lol
Needless to say I suck at driveway snow shoveling! But I did get some fun time in the snow with Darla.

Getting "Shiz" Off My Chest
December will probably forever be a hard month for me. Two HUGE events happened in Decembers past...both sad. Even though both events have changed me for the better it is sometimes hard for me to put all those memories and such in the past.
I'm vowing to not continue to be such a mess and to genuinly learn from my mistakes. But it is sooo hard for me to see pass what I've been through and to give people a chance. And once I have given someone a chance and put my emotions into something I feel like it blows up in my face.
So, I will definately learn from my mistakes but please don't expect me to put my heart into anything that can so easily be distroyed.
